Animal Abuse Problems

Animals AbusešŸ˜: Problems

Animal cruelty is when someone hurts an animal or does not care for an animal responsibly, like not giving a dog or cat food and water. It is against the law to be cruel to or harm animals, even your own pets. It's also called animal abuse, or neglect.

So why do people abuse animals?

Some people who abuse animals, don’t do it on purpose. They hurt animals they have no sense in what their doing and barely realize how cruel it is. Most people use very cruel types of discipline to keep their “pets” under control, these people think that this is the best way to solve the problem, and think that this “helps” the animals.

The next biggest percentage of people abuse animals on purpose. But don’t do it for a long time, for example: kids who try to throw rock or two a cat or stray dog don’t realize what their doing,
Some kids might be mad at something like their friends and kick their pet dog because they can’t understand that they shouldn’t do that.

Dog Fighting
Dog fighting is a type of blood sport where dogs are forced to fight for the entertainment of the spectators. Dog fighting is one of the most heinous forms of animal cruelty. Fighting dogs
are  typically raised in isolation, so they spend most of their lives on short, heavy chains.  Fighting dogs may have their ears cropped and tails docked close to their bodies
to minimize the animal’s normal body language cues and to limit areas that another dog can grab during a fight. Fights can happen in a variety of locations ranging from black alleys to carefully-staged enterprises.Although fights are not usually to the death, many dogs succumb to their injuries later, and losing dogs are, killed or brutally executed as part of the “sport. there are tens of thousands of dog fighters in the U.S., forcing hundreds of thousands of dogs to train, fight, and suffer every year. Sometimes a dog is forced to fight two dogs one and in a pit or a ring. The most commonly bred dogs for fighting are Staffordshire terriers,American Staffordshire terriers, American bulldogs, and American pit bull terriers. All of them are usually referred to as pit bulls.
